Is there any dvds you can get which tells you about dog whelping & shows you what to do. I am a first time breeder & would prefer to see how a dog whelps , I have read the books but would prefer to see it happen. There are American ones on the internet but can`t find any English ones.

If you are inexperienced, then for the sake of your bitch's comfort and safety, you are better to have an experienced mentor who can see what's actually going on and teach you what to look for. 
My bitch's breeder insisted that I spent time with her, watching bitches whelp and pups growing before she would encourage me to mate my own bitch.

There is some footage on the www somewhere.  I remember seeing it a while ago.  Someone might be able to point you in the right direction.
