Christine it was very sad and must have been very traumatic for you :(

Did you see the "Tonight" programme Monday?  They were showing how criminals were manufacturing drugs to imitate legitimate drugs and how they then get into the NHS system.  Some of the illegal manufactured drugs had active ingredients similar to the genuine drugs but the quantities would be all wrong and others didn't have the correct ingredients.  One of the criminals made £millions from this and the practice it is still going on.  Obviously this is probably going on in Veterinary medicines as well.  It looks like as far as vaccinations are concerned there are risks both ways and people have to weigh up which way to go.

The problem as I see it is that if everyone didn't vaccinate, the diseases concerned would multiply very quickly and the risk would then be from the diseases and not vaccinations.  It was unfortunate for you that this happened and understandable why you feel the way you do about vaccinations, however, I think for the majority of dogs the reactions to vaccinations are minor as they are for human babies.

No didn`t see it, wanted to but OH had something else on & I forgot  But its 1 of the reasons I always advocate buying from reputable sellers.

There are many, many Dr`s & vets throughout the world that don`t believe in giving vaccines & millions of people follow their advice.

I have my opinions on vax, others have theirs & we are all entitled to them :)

I would be the same as you christine if that happened to me

Years ago though my gran lost loads of dogs (she had quite a large kennel) to parvo (I think it was parvo)

But I think that was unlucky, she had many dogs for years & this was the only time she had problems

(This was years ago - before vaccine4s were the norm)
