Ok, so it might be a bit sad but I quite enjoy the show !.
Anyway, for those who watch - recently Terence Turner has reappeared. Does anybody remember him from the mid 80's ?. I do - and I'm very confused. The character then was young(ish). He was at uni but left (I think). I'm guessing that he would have been about my age at the time, 21-23. Anyway, this new Terence (different actor), he looks much older than 43-44...doesn't he ?. Also, isn't he supposed to be older than his sister Steph ?. She's a good deal older than mid 40's !!.
I guess I'm worried......I'm coming up 43 and I hope I look younger than those two !!.

I don't remember Alan even having any kids, let alone how old they must be I used to be an avid emmerdale farm viewer back in the annie sugden days! admit to losing interest when Bernice left :(  and Kim and the rest of the Tates' . sorry can't help.

Caught a glimpse of it today, re run, where have I seen 'Terence' before?

Definately seen him before somewhere!  Think he's been a "baddie" in something I've watched previously.

My dad thought that he was a baddie in a Bond movie. I recognise his face but can't think where.  I think that I'm way too young to remember the original Terence :d

It always amuses me the fact that Alan is Stephs dad and she looks as old as he does if not older! and now he has a son who doesn't look much younger than his dad. I wouldn't worry at 43, they all look between 60 and 70. No offence intended to anyone in that age range :).

Just had a quick search, his real name is Nick Brimble and he played Little John in the Robin Hood Prince of Thieves with Kevin Costner.  Knew I had seen him somewhere.....:-)

Although I've watched Emmerdale for many years I'm thinking of giving up on it.  The liberal story lines they're doing now are just too much for me.

Funny, I gave up on it a long time ago and till then I'd been an avid fan. Now my sister, who never used to watch it, won't even answer the phone when its on!! I've tried watching it but just can't seem to get involved. What I did notice was though that Scot suddenly developed a 'Sean Connery' accent
