my springer spaniel is jut turned 8.  back i the summer he had a small front tooth, on his lower jaw removed as it was loose and was going black. i was looking at his teeth now and three more small teeth on his lower jaw are loose when i touch them.  i do work him, so he may of banged them.  what i want to know is could they possiably re-seat in the gum or how long should i leave them like it?

Sorry to be negative but in my experience once a tooth is loose it is lost. I had one sheltie who lived to a grand old age but only had 3 teeth at the end of it. Each time a tooth would loosen, it would have to come out. On the positive side he managed very well with almost no teeth (much better than he'd been with loose teeth) and could eat normal food quite happily.

I agree with jas. I had a bitch who lost a front tooth after an accidental "coming together" with her big clumsy brother. Gradually, nearly all her incisors fell out!! Never bothered her though .
