What sort of question is that to be asking you??

They should be demonstrating it to you, not asking you to find out!
Sorry for ranting - it's not your fault but it's typical from my experience of grooming courses run by general colleges!
you want to hear some of the other questions ive got answer!!

I'd rather not - bless you! I feel sooo sorry for folk on these courses. You REALLY would be better to spend your time and money of a course at a grooming school. I said the same thing to a girl on another board and she went to a grooming school for a taster day. She said that she'd learned more in that one day than she's learned in her previous 12 month course!
how do i find out where is the nearest grooming school. I live near brighton

You need good recommendation. As with everything, they're not all as good as each other. I can only recommend the one that I worked at, but that is just outside Oxford, although students travel from all over the country to go there.
Another exhibitor (who actually lived near Brighton at the time!) had done 4 weeks training at a school near Heathrow, and hadn't learned much. She then did another course at The Oxford School and couldn't believe what she hadn't been taught!
This is why i choose this course im doing becuase its one day a week. I have smaill children so im a bit stuck till they get bit older. Im really enjoying the dogs, but its the silly paper work ive got to do with it. Some of it makes sense but some of it nonsense, i was doing it early this morning and other half was saying whats this got to do with grooming!
look at
this, gofaster. They're listed in brighton :)

Try smearing the inside of the muzzle with cream cheese - or meat paste. Let the dog sniff it first - then put it on - as Sam says -CAREFULLY!!
Best thing is to show the muzzle - filled with food - two to three times before attempting to put it on :D

Another way to do it is "sneek attack" whare you go from behind and slip it over there mouth and give loats of praise when they have it on or if the dog wont let you near them get a pece of rope or ribbin and tie it in a loop, slip it over the muzzle of the dog pull it secure and cross it over under the chin and then tie securley behind the neck. Its hard to explain. Make sure the dog cant open its mouth and if possible put on a normal muzzle after the ribbon one.
