My female is near the end of her 6th week of pregnancy, from the looks of her she has alot of pup's.I havn't had her x rayed yet but I will bring her in soon.
The last few nights she has been panting more than normal and seems like she's having a hard time getting compfy and is not sleeping well at night.Might it just be because of her size as she is now quite large or would it be best if I took her to the vet to make sure once again all is well?

i wouldnt be to worried just yet my girl had 9 and she nor i got alot of sleep from the 5 week on because she just couldnt get comfortable. She would also pant and when lying on her stomach she would make this weezy sound. is her stomach very large now or is it more of her ribs that appear to be large my breed gets large in the chest area and then in the stomach ?
Hi i agree with the first post, boy i found it hard carrying my second son and could i get comfy no. If your worried though take her the vet and get her checked out to put your mind at ease. ood luck
Warm regards Susan
hello my names haley im 14 yrs old ,
ive been reading about your puppys and i woundered weather you could give me some advice I have a pomeranian called elly, ilove her to bits . Shes jus coming up for five November 2006. I have been told that breeding a pom after 5 yrs old is dangerous. shes in her season at the moment and im really thinking about letting her have puppies. I thought because you have had some experience in puppies you may be able to give me some advice. as i said she means everything to me . I dont want to risk her. We have a stud dog lined up for this sunday (just to see him and to meet his owner ). Please could you write back as i really need some help quick. She is a nice size . alot bigger than other pomeranians. We have been told that she would have know trouble but im not so sure . Her mum had no trouble having her.????????
could you help?> what are the risks ??????? How many things are likely to go wrong????i dont want to lose her!
