Well done on choosing such a wonderful breed. I don;t know of any breeders in your area however I do know a very experienced Mini Bull person here in the Midlands. I don;t think she is breeding at the moment however she may be able to recommend someone to you. If I remember correctly I think the KC have now approved mating betweend minis and standards to hopefully eliminate some health problems.

My own mini was probably one of the best tempremented dogs I have ever owned and he was bred by this woman.

I have a mini bull terrier and although I love Branston dearly, they are not (or he is not) easy! My advice to anyone is to find out as much as you can about them and choose your breeder wisely. My dog seems to suffer from all the classic Bull Terrier problems. Spinning, Shadow Chasing, aggression with other dogs, paw licking and kidney trouble just to name a few. I love my boy and we have been going to training classes since he was 14 weeks old, but unfortunately the trainer now says that he's just Mad and there is nothing that will change him. I think I need to find a new trainer/behaviourist!

Sorry to sound so negative. He is wonderful with us, a great personaility, they are very funny dogs to have around and I wouldn't be without him, I just wish I could do something more with the problems he has.
