I am hooked at the mo on Harry Potter and the chamber of secrets.

Can anyone who has done this tell me how to kill the dogs in the wood please using the Lumos.  I can't seem to get it right and am getting so FRUSTRATED

My son says, when you get the lumos you need the 'hitting' spell and you hit the dogs with it ????
(sorry its hard to understand a 10 yr olds instructions when he goes through the actions.) think the spells called 'expelliamos' or something like that :)

edited: you hit them with the lumos and they go all drowsy then you use the spell to get rid of them. :rolleyes:

I must admit to just hitting them a few times with the lumos spell. And yes, I'm addicted ;) When I can play it. My PS2 is on a no play unless it's got a silver back on it just now :( Time for a new one I think. :)

He spends all his spare time on the ps2, expensive hobby cos as he completes them all he wants new ones luckily he has quite a few ps2 playing friends so they all swap games and and my phone is forever ringing with  my neice or even BIL asking 'ask Jamie how.......?'  Must admit the only game I ever got hooked on was Tomb Raider :rolleyes: and I have 3 of them and not one completed! in fact I think I've left her facing death somewhere, havent been on it for ages cos I've got Champ dogs now :P :P

Can you ask Jamie if there are any other games like these, istead of the shooting and killing ones we have King Kong and that is difficult so not even going there.  Don't like James Bond or Rally driving but like the puzzle ones!
Has he got Shrek? what is that like, this PS2 is going to cost a fortune in games perhaps we ought to start up a PS2 swap shop or library.  What a good idea!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:rolleyes:  

Oh I forgot, how do I et rid of the Robot that Hermione is fighting in the Prisioner of Azkaban, nothing seems to work there as I cannot distinguish it.

I've just bought Wallace & Gromit's Curse of the Wererabbit.  I only got my PS2 for Christmas so am really rubbish with it, but W & G is really good fun :D  I've noticed already though that it pays to really shop around for games both in the shops and online as there can be huge differences between the prices for the same game   I'm not one for shoot em up, violent games either or ones with horrors like zombies and things in them

Join the club, I find them fascinating to work out and do and why should they only be for kids, after all we are only grown up kids!!!!!!!!!!!

I bought my other half the ps2 for xmas and I have played on it more than him.

When you can afford it get Buzz it is brilliant if you like music.

You can choose to have older or newer music or a mix.  The older is good fun and I beat my OH all the time and he hates it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:rolleyes:

I am trying to kill the Wers and ahve done that but can,t seem to get to the other side t push the sold buttons to let me out,  Sorry I can,t be more specific, have killed 2 griffins also.

Incendio was the spell have just remembered:rolleyes:

Right I have retrieved the Incendio spell book and eventually got out of there. I am now in a room with 4 pillars and underneath these pillars are 4 pigs of some sort.  I have worked out how to incendio the burners to make the stone things drop and run down each side and fought with the little fire eating ladybirds things.  I now need to know how to get up to the other side and push the buttons in.   I have also discovered that if I incendio the pigs ( to light them that are under the stone pillars) then Flipendo them if make the platforms raise, but can,t work out how to get on them quick enought or to get to the other side.
