Hello all, I've finally registered after reading this forum for the best part of a year (picked up some great tips and advice, thank you) and I now look forward to posting with you all.
Paddy is my 2 year old yellow labrador who joined our family at the age of 11 months. He is a wonderful boy who enjoys walks, swimming and new toys and is not above lying in bed and watching the odd DVD :)
He shares his home with two teenage boys, a nervous black cat, myself and partner in N/W England.
Hope to post with you soon

Hi Paddysmum. I dont own a dog since I moved out of my mums house. Shes got a white jack russel and a golden labrador. Would love a dog but work commitments would make it impossible to care for it properly!
Thank you for the welcome
Tracey123 Paddy is my first dog since I left home (a long time ago!) but I am glad I waited until the time was right for us. Paddy is never left longer than four hours despite us both working full time and with two older teens available when necessary it just feels so right for us now in a way that wouldn't have been right for us ten years ago or so. I have to admit though I wasn't actively looking for a dog when Paddy came along it just all fell in to place :)

Welcome Paddysmum - just one word of warning : CD is addictive :D :D :D
Margot (who is owned by 4 aussies, 2 labs, numerous cats, 1 OH & 1 boomerang -plus pup :D :D )
Thanks for the warning Margot ;)
See it's that addictive that the post is coming through twice :d
Welcome! I am MAD and owned by 6 Spanish Water Dogs.
I deleted the second one! Still got to get to grips with the mechanics of posting :)
For those of you with a few dogs I am so envious, I would love another lab (more if space permitted) but after the last two weeks of looking after an 8 month old CKCS while her owners (relatives) went on holiday I wonder if I could cope!

I adore black labs and whenever I can persuade partner for a pup I am hoping for a black. Paddy is a dark yellow (could maybe be called fox red I suppose)
