Hi,
My golden retriever is nearly 8 months old and I absolutely adore him! He was bought as a companion but recently I have become interested in the world of showing. This is very new to me - Every time I have ever been to a show its always been on the outside of the ring, looking in! My golden is keen to learn and likes to please. I really would like to take part in the shows, how do I start?

Make sure that your dog is KC registered and that you have transfered him to your name. Then tell his breeder you would like to show him and see if you get any help from them, if they are into showing themselves you should get lots of advice. Find a local ringcraft club and join you will, of should get all the advice you need. Try your breeder first and come back to us and give us an update. Jackie
