Best not to - it stinks! It's fine fed raw.

To say it stinks is an understatement!!

I haven't smelled tripe cooking since my granny was alive (she died nearly 20 years ago) and the mere memory of it is enough to turn my stomach even now   The smell of it raw doesn't bother me any more so that's how the dogs get it and they have no complaints :)

Second that one!!! It really makes me heave sometimes and if you cook it - it's ten times no hundred times worse and will stink the whole house out!

The freeflow tripe doesn't smell as much but don't think it's as nourishing or tasty for the dogs.   Dogs love it though despite the smell!!

robinho, do not even go there.

No one cooks green tripe (the stuff meant for animals), white tripe on the other hand is cooked for humans,  but there is no point in feeding this to dogs as there is diddly squat nutrition in it.

I try to make sure I do not feed tripe in the morning as I always feel I am surrounded by a cloud of tripey aroma when I am at work, not guaranteed to win friends or influence people.......
