My dogs have pedigree tins and dry mixed together twice a day but they always have the runs what else can i feed them?

If you want to continue feeding a tinned food Chappie has an excellent reputation for delicate stomachs.  Their dried product has many advocates too although I have not tried that myself.

I've used Chappie complete before, the dogs loved it, but I found the low fat content showed in the coats, not enough gloss. I'm using Autarky at the moment.

Hi Hayzey

Personally I wouldn't feed Chappie as I am highly dubious of some of the ingredients in it.

I'd agree with Hailey's list:

Burns, James Wellbeloved and Wafcol Hypoallergenic Salmon are all excellent dry foods.

Nature Diet is an excellent wet food.

I wouldn't feed Pedigree - again, the ingredients are very dodgy (can go into more detail if you want).

Tinned Chappie is one of the best wet foods IMO, and is excellent for most cases of dodgy digestion. The Chappie dry complete is low in fat, which makes it good for overweight dogs and those with liver problems, but often this lack of fat shows in the condition of the coat.

I wasn't happy with Pedigree or Purina when my dog was a pup.  She is fed JWB now and is doing great on it

Your dog may have the runs for one or more of several reasons:

They are being fed too much
They are intolerant of one or more of the ingredients
They are allergic to one or more of the ingredients
They may have a metabolic condition that needs treating.

I am not sure why your dogs have both tinned and dry food mixed (of both are complete), this could be a problem.  If the wet food, on the other hand, requires a mixer as in biscuits this is of course another matter.

If you like wet food I would say Naturediet is the best on the market in the UK today being vacuum packed meat, rice, carrots and bonemeal, most dogs do very well on it.  Otherwise you could try DUCK however that is more tricky to find.

I would stay away from tinned foods such as Pedigree that contain added sugars (caramel for colouring) and salts (for flavour) and which do not list the exact ingredients but a bulk description such as "meat, vegetable and cereal derivatives".

I would disagree with the suggestion that mixing dry and wet complete foods potentially causes problems - all of mine are fed on a combination of wet and dry and I've never had any problems as a result of that alone.  I have had problems due to individual ingredients in the foods though.  There is, imo, a very good reason to mix ND with dry foods, which is simply that ND is quite a pricey food, especially if you are feeding a large breed dog.  Mixing a high quality dry kibble, such as Burns or JWB, with ND can help to keep the cost down, and can also make the meals a bit tastier for the dog (which will usually prefer wet), so you get the best of both worlds.  Of course, all dogs are different...

It may be that my 5 month old has a cast iron stomach but he is thriving on a combination of Burns and homecooking. The combination of wet and dry does indeed seem to be the best of both worlds. But then as onetwothree says, all dogs are different. But it's precisely those differences that suggest to me that there are no absolutes about what is "right" or "wrong".
