hi everyone,
I think my pups can fly. (not really). The funniest thing happend this morning,i woke up with somthing heavy on my feet sat up quickly to find bonnie had jummped on the bed and fetched her 2 pups aswell, there they all were fast asleep at the end of the bed. I panicked at first because of the pups, but had a real laugh. bonnie just looked at me as if to say now how did they get there.
they are all doing well, pups are really fat and healthy, mums doing great. she's having her stiches out next week im not looking forward to that so i'll send the hubby,
Lowri.

;) ;) Hi Lowri, Dont dogs do the funniest things? She obviously wanted to be with you, so the pups had to come too. So glad they are all doing well. Dont worry about the stitches being taken out, theres nothing to it.

Lowrie just caught up with this thread , sorry I have not congratulated you on the puppies and all the hard work . So I will say it it now , well done Kash too and lol and hugs Mari
Bonnie may have an infection and or retained placenta. This can make a bitch think she is having another pup . So her behaviour is the same as prenatel. . I hope it is just the calcium . so will keep fingers crossed .
You are doing everything so well , you deserve nothing goes wrong now , Best wishes Mari

Hi all,
just come back from the vet, bonnie had a sedative and a calcium injection. He gave me a bottle of calcium and said 1 desert spoonfull on her meal once a day so i hope that will do the trick.apart from that she is great and so are the puppies.

hi,
bonnie out cold, does anybody know if its knocked her out will it do the same to the pups because their drinking her milk, (hope not) because of them feeding through the night. I have definatly decided no more pups here, i think i worry more about them than the kids.

Hi Lowri, its the sedative thats knocked her out. It may go through the milk to the pups, but will only make them sleepy. Pups and mums are always a worry, its cos we love them. In a week or so, you will be looking forward to doing it again :)

Hi Lowri, I was avidly reading your earlier thread when suddenly you disappeared to the vet, then there's a gap of three days until this thread here. What happened in between? Did I miss a thread somewhere?
