mine is quite boring but at least I know I can stick to it - I'm going to recycle more. As always I fully intend to eat less, exercise more, have better control over my finances, be better organised, get round to setting up my own business and have a more fulfilling life and not spend as much time on the net but these will probably last until 3rd january if they even start.

To exercise and lose weight!

what weight have you got to lost????
Terri I may not look it but I'm almost 11 stone now. OK it's just over a stone over weight but I really need to lose this weight before I put anymore on. My mums family are renowned for putting a lot of weight on in their late 30's/early 40's!!!

I wish I was 11 stone!! Ive lost 3 stone in total but I always worry around xmas and new year cos I think Im gonna put it all back on! Plus Im off on my hols on 3rd Jan so even more weight will stick to my hips!!
lose weight get thin stop eating LOSE SOME WEIGHT
OOO ill make my new years resloution to be to work reeeeeeeeeally hard at the stables (I start my course there 9th Jan :D - get to ride at least four times a week - for free! plus learning looads about horses and horse care!!!!)
And BAH none of you need to loose weight :D

1. To start taking proper, regular exercise, which should, in theory, help me lose weight.
2. To eat more healthily than I do now, which should, in theory, help me lose weight.
3. To be more careful and regulated in my spending, which again, in theory, should help me lose weight.
4. To do more housework, which again, should help me lose weight.
5. Maybe I should lose some weight ;)
Margot
well I didn't get to loose that last half a stone before christmas and I've actually put on an EXTRA half a stone so the first one has got to be to loose the extra stone in weight and get back in shape (no good doing figure skating when you're as graceful as an elephant LOL) then I've promised myself to learn Italian and to learn heelwork to music with my springer cross :-)
1. I will eat five portions of fruit and veg daily.
2. I will be more patient with clueless clients and offer them as much support as I can.
3. I will finally read Lord of the Rings. So far I have taken it to Western Australia and back, to the Canaries and back, around East Africa and its also travelled approximately 2000 miles on the Northern Line, yet I still haven't read a page!
4. I will learn and use a new word every day.
5. I will try to stop correcting other people's grammar. It doesn't earn me any friends! ;-)
6. I will attempt to improve my radiography skills. They are sadly lacking at the moment.
7. I will not allow myself to become annoyed by "Doctor" Gillian McKeith, despite the fact that she's an absolute charlatan who talks utter nonsense. I don't think it would be inaccurate to liken her to a 21st century snake oil salesman!
8. I will stop saying "Righty-ho then". It is not 1920.
9. I will always take my make-up off before going to bed.
10. I will buy an atlas and find out where countries actually are. My geographical knowledge is woeful.
OK, I think that should keep me busy in 2006!
im going to stop smoking drinking beating up my husband and im going to train my dog to do the toilet outside, he is 2 years old so its about time he got the hang of it

*WUM = Wind-Up Merchants aka TROLLS
i dont really beat up my husband that was a joke, i give him a slap now and then cos hes lazy when it comes to helping with the dog and the kids i was just having a laugh sorry if u got offended

I will stop smoking, start college, teach Abby that leave means leave even if Im not in the room. I will have a flat tummy again.

For the entire duration of 2005 I have been very seriously bullied by a work colleague..and my managers didnt believe me. Its now become clear to them what has really been going on. Unfortunately During this time I have got very low and let myself and my home go to pieces.
My resolution is to turn myself around.
1.Im going to go to counselling
2. Im going to take formal action against my bully and regain my self respect
3. Im going to sort out my house
4. im going to try and find the happy person i used to be

Go for it girl, before I had my employment was"terminated"by my employer(long story work conditions resulted in RIS which they don't recognise)I was sexually harrassed by a male member of staff by the time I found out I was not the only one it was too late for me to complain-he's a blue eyed boy there BTW. i wish I had been stronger when it happened

pinklillies - go girl go!!!
I've also had a very difficult year and been the lowest I have ever been. Hardest part to acknowledge was that I am not the tough cookie I thought I was. I too have had my self esteem knocked for 6 and confidence flattened, but I am on my way back.
I have had great friends who have dragged me through the year and my resolution is to show those who kicked me when I was down that I can fight my way back.
1. Kick A*S (I'm far too soft with everyone)
2. Lose weight (going skiing in Feb and afraid might cause an avalanche. Also will help my confidence to get slimmer)
3. Exercise more - live in a bungalow (one room upstairs) so don't even have to climb stairs for loo.
4. Generally get out more (lack of confidence means hardly go out)
There said it so must do it now - Yikes

Mine are:
to over-eat and do no exercise
to be unfriendly to all Newbies
to always post useful, sensible and friendly posts
My New Year Resolutions never last so here goes ...... ;)
Daisy
My resolutions are ...........
Not too make any, that way i wont be disappointed if or when i fail ;) :D

I havent really got any to make. I dont smoke. Ive been losing weight for the past 2 years (I guess I could just make it to lose more weight?) Im good with money - havent got any debts?? I dont tend to bite my nails often. I suppose I could be a nicer person and stop winging at people for saying "You do realise Im pregnant dont you" mentioning no names (keeley)
To be more organised which then means....
I'll eat better, I'll have more time to swim/go to the gym/walk the dogs longer, be in better control of my money, be less tired, etc, etc
Oh and another one which I do each year is to try something new, what will it be this year????
Fi xxxx
Happy New Year to all

1.Take a bit more pride in my appearance - spend all my time in scruffy boots & walking gear. OH gets a total shock if he see's me in feminine clothes or wearing make-up!
2. Live more & worry less.
sighs:-( lose weight again!!
I want to be fat and happy...but I can't...sniff, sniff ....so here we go again

Yes, I'll be losing weight too.......I lost 50lbs this year but I've put 25 back on

Will keep plodding!! I WILL
be 9.5 stones again!!!
Hayley x

I remember 9.5 stones, it was so long ago. I would love to be 9.5 stones again.
My new year resolution is the same as it has been for years
TO LOOSE WEIGHT It is sooooooooooooooooo boring though. I hate diets
Don't class it as dieting.......call it eating healthy :-)
Ok I hate healthy eating too. WHy is it that everything I like is bad for me? Life is so unfair. LOL

More exercise, running (for more than 2 weeks this time!!), healthy eating - no more crisps, chocolate, biscuits, etc etc AND no more pasta/bread and the like until I'm the weight I should be :) hopefully it won't take long cos I'll be missing my Milky Way bars :D
Also I plan to get into a proper routine with the dogs - the last couple months i've been all over the lpace, sometimes they've had an hour and a half exercise a day, sometimes 20 minutes, never at the same tiem each day, and very little training or playing - inbetween work and college I've been in chaos, I'm vowing to get things sorted now, get up at the same time every day, train + walk the dogs, work and so on, and make sure they always get 2 hours' walk a day besides the training and playing! Gawd, I'm gonna be knackered :D
