Well the girls have had their presents and have gone back to bed and are snoring :rolleyes:

I am on my third cup of tea and wondering what to do now :D

I've been up since 0515 (thanks, Lennon), so I've beaten you all - HA! - OH is still abed, and the dogs, having had their brekkie and walk, are now fast asleep, leaving me to lurk on here......

Well, I've just been forced out of bed by a snoring Bernese Mountain Dog who was hogging all the duvet...and I don't even own a Bernese Mountain Dog (we're looking after him for friends who have gone skiing). The OH and my own two are still sleeping too so I thought I'd have a few minutes on here before the chaos begins :)

I was woken at 3.45!!!!!!!  by two excited little boys......:rolleyes:  Managed to get a few more hours before getting bounced by Missy and Bonnie (inspite of the laters 13 years, she still manages to get on the bed!) at 7 - so now I'm dressed, downstairs and waiting for Big Dave to get home from work.......

I have a batch of white choc and cranberry muffins in the oven....ready to take to work with me. We shall eat them on our break. Im saving my presents till I get home. Dogs are still asleep :)

just  got up to feed the dog and then going back to bed to 10,30,then up to take the dogs out then the rest of the day chilled out,

Boys woke us up at 6.10am

Its now 8.15 and all presents opened , rubbish in the recycle bin :D , Lounge hoovered! All presents up stairs in boys rooms.  They are happily playing on their new playstation games.

We are showered, dressed (me wearing my new perfume :D ) and am about to start the dinner :D

Dogs been walked & now settled on the lawn with big juicy bone each si I`m with a lovely coffee, only 2nd of the day :D

I've just got home from work... 12 hour night shifts can be a B***h sometimes LOL.  Going to take the dogs out then crawl into bed at noon til 6 then off to work again.  Man I love my job :D

I'm here! Ned's walking the dogs and The Boy is in his pit, after I rang him at 1.30 to remind him that Father Christmas doesn't visit naughty boys who stay in the pub too long! I wonder when I should go and wake him? ;)

Pressies will be opened at about 11-ish, when lunch is under control. Help me here: if the goose weighs 4400g (approx), and needs to cook for 15 mins per lb plus 15 mins, and we want to eat at about 2pm, when should I put it in the oven?

At 2.20am this morning my two boys woke me up seeing if they could open pressies yet needless to say i sent them back to bed :D
come 6.20am Kai is demanding to be up and out, did that,  then i checked on the kids who were sleeping soundly by this point pressy wrapping still intact.... decided i couldnt wait any longer and sent Kai into wake them up.... :D :D

My kids woke up at 7 but waited until 7.30 to wake me up with an interesting rendition of we wish you a merry christmas and come into my room open their presents!!!!!

My brother and I never got up early, think we liked out beds too much, actually I still do :d  HAVENT ONLY JUST GOT UP THOUGH, been up for a while.  Dogs have been walked and opened their presents :d  Off to my parents shortly to open our presents although their one off me won't be ready until half way through the new year.

Been up since 6.30 when Alfie leapt on our bed! Turkey in oven and OH has taken dog out so it MUST be Christmas!! Have a lovely day everyone!!

We were up at our usual 06:00. OH has today off so one bottle of cava gone, he is now away to the local shop for another....hope they are open :-D

Hope you sorted your timings out JG.  Mine weighs 5.4KG and I put it in at 10 to be out of the oven about 1.20 in time to put the oven up for spuds done for 2pm.  Hubbie up at 6am due to Amber wanting out early following pickings from roast giblet gravy prepared yesterday :) then didn't bother bringing me wake up call and coffee until 9am so it was a bit of a push to get it all on the go, have to have it eaten and sat down before Queenie at 3 :).

Well I got up at 10.30 :D and now have to face the mess from yesterday, sigh....  Was hoping for a nice cold day for some dry dog walks but it's all wet outside!!!

Nice and dry in North Lancashire and I think the forecast is set to stay that way, might get a bit of snow in Keswick come Tuesday though :)

Just checked the BBC weather site, snow is now off the menu :(

Metcheck are still saying snow for the East on Tuesday and Wednesday :D :D As was the BBC weather this am ;)

I have had a BRILL Christmas, hubby surprised me with a fantastic charm bracelet and a ring AND an iPod

Had a lovely day, little one stayed asleep till 8am (didn't sleep till 12pm last night ) and older one slept here too :D  pressies opened, dinner eaten, toys played with, child now asleep and older one gone to drink elsewhere :)  we're having a lovely lazy evening :D

OH bought me lovely pressies including a beautiful dog book from LKA (kept that one quiet :D )

I didnt get home from work until half two last night, when I got in Matthew was up wanting to know why Santa hadnt been yet, got all presents out and finally got to bed after three only to be woken again for 6(cant wait till they are teenagers and have to be dragged out of bed). Going to bed now,
