A friend of mine has just told me that her greyhound is currently being a surrogate mum to 6 daschund puppies who's mum sadly died last night after whelping. Thankfully their new mum is enjoying these new other bundles of joy & is now a mum to 11. My prayers are with them all tonight.

My prayers are also with the pups, glad the greyhound has accepted them.  Poor Daschund mum how terribly, terribly sad. Your friend must be devastated. :-(  God Bless and good wishes to all.

Sorry about your friend's dog, but I'm glad the puppies found a surrogate mum - I bet dachshunds suckling from a greyhound looks funny though! :-)
