Not only have you made your little staffy girl very happy you have also made my day. I admire you for taking on board what everyone said without getting angry or upset, you handled the situation fantastically it couldnt have been easy for you.
Have a Great Christmas xx

Well done tomkiol! You've made all the difference to your staffie's quality of life and even though I'm sure it was difficult, it might be that things at home could be easier all round now you've had the courage to stand up and not let your husband bully you into doing something you were unhappy about.

Fantastic news Tomkiol :) I very much hope that as a family you will all learn to love, treasure and enjoy your girl - you've made a huge leap forward and well done for taking a stance!
Very best wishes to you and yours for a happy and magical Christmas and a peaceful New Year. Keep the courage going ;)

That's brilliant news :) it just shows how talking can improve things. I'm hoping that your OH will come to realise the benefits of having a companion who doesn't judge and gives unconditional love :)
My OH has been through a really bad couple of years ending with being unable to work for a year and a long recuperation, I've noticed that the dogs have been able to get him smiling and loosen up even when I was unable to get through to him, and he would have preferred not to have had a dog ;) He's grown to love them and enjoys having them, the second dog was as much his idea as mine :D
Wishing you all a Happy Christmas :D
