ive always been curious why pups walk backwards when they poo or is this just my breed they always end up tretting in it falling in it sitting in it and then you have to clean a pup up

and im just curious why they do it

My two year old still feels she has to shuffle backwards, her Mum tries to ram her bum into bushes and up tree trunks,a dn won't atand still to poo so you ahve it spread in a wide circle.  Thankfully the others stand nice ans still and just get on with it. :D

I think with babies it is a balnce thing,a nd with the others who knows :rolleyes:

i think the other see it and think it would be funny if it knock the puppy over who is trying to do his/her business this morning i went in to clean the pups pen i walked in and as soon as i did they all umped up onto my legs and my legs got covered in it ewwwwwwww
i wasnt impressed they were covered in each others poo

i think the backward walk is just instinct to poo far away from nest as possible. my pups all did it through the bars of the puppy pen onto the carpet  :eek:
