My Doberman has some bald patches around her eyes, the vet tested her for mange, and has now given me some capsules with fish oils to see if they help.  Her fur also seems to be thinner around her ears a bit and a couple of patches on her head.  Has any one else had a similar problem, as I have a feeling if the capsules don't work, my vet won't be to sure what else it could be.  I hoping the capsules do the trick as I feel really sorry for her.

Get your vet to do a full panel blood test for thyroid disfunction.
Which can cause hairloss/bald patches.

Sometimes the thyroid trouble can happen around the time the dog
starts seasoning etc.

Definately one to ask the vet about.

If you are feeding Fish Body Oils please note that you should also be supplementing with Vitamin E as well in order to get the best effect........
