ive read that you can offer a glucose drink to a pup can i give it to my bitch at any time   is this made up of sugar and boiled water only or do i have to buy this any guide lines to this would be appretiated as it sounds like good stuff  and i would like to know as my little girl is due in 10 days time thanx

You can buy powdered glucose from the chemists and some supermarkets.  A few teaspoons in a pint of water is often appreciated :)

I put a dessert spoon of Manuka honey to a pint of just boiled water then leave to cool.  I find mine prefer this to the powdered glucose but every dog will be different :)

honey here as well ....dogs love it and its great on toast to give you energy when waiting for pups to arrive........see i thought of everything LOL

thankyou for your advice ive got some honey, it does sound like a good idea to have some myself with toast thanx for that. my little girl is due tomorrow cant wait very excited but really nervous incase something goes wrong sorry ive only just got back to you all but been really busy what with christmas and all thanx
