I've got a girl that is just over 7 weeks in pup and she has started to whistle

i've had litters over the years but this is a first. She is fit, healthy and eating well just sounds like a steam train it's so loud that it has kept me up these last 2 nights. She is on the large side around the tummy so think it might be the lungs just getting pushed up, i just wanted to know if anyone else has had the same thing happen?

is it a large litter my girl had 9 and she started this heavy brething thing that sounded like a whistle i used to have to tell her to lie on her side because it was the only thing that would make the sound quieter it was still there just not as loud i took my girl to the vets and they said it was normal becuase everything was squashed
but if you are still unsure then take her to the vets because i cant hear your girl to know if its the same it was kinda a strained breath with a little whistly rattle when she lied on her stomach
is it coming from her nose?
does she have a runny nose?
has she had a canine herpes test?
Hi slee,
when scaned it was an average size litter for her breed but she does carry high( 1st litter told she was having 3 she had 5) this is her second litter and she is bigger than the first time.
it is worse when she is on her tummy just now i have a bolster cushion under her front paws and it seems to help. no sign of a runny nose, had the canine herpes test done after she had 2 missed matings and i was ruling out the reason for her not coming in to pup and it was clear.
At the moment all she wants is to eat, sleep and lots of cuddles.

it sounds like what my bitch was doing i never trust the scans and my vet even tells me not to my last one said my bitch was only have a couple and then 9 pups later she was done
how many did they say she was having this time
if the pillow works then keep using it but as she gets bigger it will probably stop working roll her on her side and stretch her out and it will be much quieter it will be more of a heavy breathing then rather then a whistle
He thinks 3 possiby 4 was not sure if he was counting a foetus twice, i think she is having more than that either that they must be whoppers of puppies cause she is fit to burst.
