where can I buy I.D. tags from the local pets stores around here useless.
Most places who cut keys (name escapes me) usually do dog tags and engraving etc. I got some lovely ones but s*ds law can't remember the site now. Am sure someone else will have some info for you :)

I know pets at home have a machine for doing your own.I think they cost about £4,but you get them done there and then. :)

Pets at home do Tags (engraved) in a machine or you can send away to give you a wider choice of designs. They also sell cheep plastic one of little barrel type ones aswell.
They sell them on ebay with various designs - any colour shape etc, engraved and most of the time free p+p for around £2.50! Thats where i got my 2's from!
And i got them the next day too so not a long wait and there lovely - my 2 have pink stars
I may be wrong, but I think the poster may mean identifying pups when they are born. My vet came yesterday for Kira's post-whelp check, and she recommended a little mark with nail varnish - so I have marks on a tail, a head, a front left foot, a front right foot, a back left foot, a back right foot, and one without a mark!! Seems to be working fine :-) I had put different colour threads round their back feet, but they kept coming off, so I was glad the vet recommended something else!
