My boy won a class of 2 in Puppy and i know you dont get points unless there are 3 in class, but then went on to become BPD and RBPIS beating the rest of the puppies, i will be checking with KC but wondered if anyone else had been in this sort of situation.

No points sadly. You only get them for 3 in the class or if there were 3 entered and you get BOB.:rolleyes:

Sadly quite true it only counts if you get BOB.

My youngster went Best Puppy and had a puppy hound group place at a Championship show yet did#t get any points.

She also went Best Puppy several times, but as there weren't three in her class she xouldn't get points, even when she went BPIB over the male pup that got the RCC, so technically beat all but one of the male entry.

I am the same Brainless had several BPIS and no points.  I have been collecting the points for the SHCM this time though as the rules of this are better for me.  You have to get BOB everytime but least you still get a point if there is low entries.  I am only needing a couple for one of my youngsters just now but need do some open shows to get the rest.

My show season seems to be loads of open shows at the beginning of the year then once summer comes it is champshows right up to end of October.
