thanks for the reassurance, i think i will call the vet, i am a panicker at the best of times but during  the last week my nerves have been shattered. it is terrible to hear her crying, daisy looks puzzled and i feel helpless, ive just given her some infacol, does anyone know if it could be anything else to worry about.

Hi i dont know how old your puppy is or if you have got them on solid food, but if they are on solids it could be the pups constipated. regards debbie.

Hold her on your chest, head up and see if she burps.

sorry for got they are new born , if they are warm enough and feeding well it could just be it has taken more milk than the others and got a little  bit of a belly ache, you will have to keep an eye on all of them . hope things improve good luck debbie.

I have spoken to my vet who said that theres not really much more that he can do than i am doing at home; keeping her warm, stimulating her to toilet etc.  Has anyone ever had anything like this happen and if it is a belly ache how long is it likely to last for, sorry im a really worried first timer and know that i will not be able to sleep a wink tonight.

I think they get constipated when greedy. A little little bit of liquid pariffin .As always doublecheck with the vet.
