I'm dithering - is anyone going to the Whitstable show? I had my puppy entered but she came into season, and I don't know whether or not to take my coatless American cocker. He was just entered for fun and on the offchance that there were no entries in his class (it's the only way the poor chap would ever win!!) and can't decide whether to waste the entry fees and the effort I put into handstripping and clipping him, or whether to waste the petrol money! There's also the problem that I ought to go bellringing for the church service first, so wouldn't be there at start of judging, and his breed is in 4th I think. :-)
No not entered etc.
But whatever you decide Best Of Luck.
Some days I've really not felt like going to a show then done really well got BOB etc.
Then others had a really naff day...
But I've rarely not gone to shows that I've entered (unless my dogs have been unwell/in season).
So in your case I'd probably still go and have a fun day out :D
Hi Lucy,
If you,ve entered then i would say try your luck. I am dithering at the moment with LKA , i have entered but now its getting close i am thinking of the cold, the long drive and the prospect of leaving home at 4.30am to get there on time. My new rule is to only do summer shows lol. GOOD LUCK if you decide to go.

LOL........I was just thinking why do I enter winter shows so far away too, M25 & M1 bothways on a Friday too, must be mad.
watch out for the speed camera's up on the bridges on the M42 if you are going
to LKA and stick the speed limit displayed regardless of how busy or not the roads are...

As expected, 2nd out of 2 - my Yankee really isn't show standard at all, I only entered him for company for the Cavalier puppy. But at least I was able to tell the steward why she wasn't in her class! And I met someone who reads this forum, so hello there! :-)
