I doubt that the ingestion of pork fat in itself will contribute to long lasting ill effects.........
My lot have it every christmas with no ill effects but I believe reheated pork is dangerous.

Oh dear, I hope someone has told all the housewives that reheat the leftovers and catering establishments that use blast chillers this.
Why is reheated pork any more dangerous than reheated anything else?
I dont know but I saw it on a programme and apparantly if it is not completely reheated then it forms some sort of bacteria. I dont know the full details as I didnt expect to have to use this information but my motto is if someone says its dangerous dont do it!

All food that requires reheating should be done thoroughly, this includes all meat and rice etc. Otherwise bacteria will not be killed off and hence all differing strains of food poisoning can occur.
Pork is not special in this regard

Hi any dog that ingests too much fat, be it form Pork, Turkey or whatever can get Pancreatitis

my dad was looking after my dog this weekend and he fed her some pork fat which according to him she didn't digest properly and he had to pull out of her butt in a semi-digested state. I had a raging hangover when he was telling me this and was struggling not to throw up with the vivid mental pictures - aren't dads great!!
