Topic Dog Boards / Breeding / bleeding after mating

I waited until my dog finished her bleeding cycle which was on day 8 and then I bred her on day 10 and 11. Today is day 14 and I noticed that she has some light pink tinge now. She was finished before is it normal for cockers to do that after breeding. Should I bring her to the studs house again. She had no problems actually we could not get the two apart they tied three times and were still wanting to go. This is the first for both of them.

She can continue bleeding for the full 21 days or more, that's all normal. Not all that many bitches actually do bleed less when they are ready.

does that mean that she has not taken yet and that I should take her to the studs house again

No it doesn't mean anything, it's entirely normal for a bitch to bleed for a full 3 weeks or more in season whether mated or not.

Like Goldmali said, it's perfectly normal. Bitches continue in season as normal, whether they've been mated or not. It's no indication of whether or not they are in whelp. If you took her back to the stud, chances are she wouldn't stand anyway. If she did, you wouldn't know when the puppies were due (to 1st or 2nd mating) & could run into problems because of that.
