Hi
Has anyone else come across this treat - Lakse Kronch? A bag was given to my the other day by someone and my dog is going BATTY for them. The ingredients are listed as salmon and fish meal; it is supposed to be 85% salmon, contaiining no artificial colour or flavours. I normally use fresh food as training treats, but as far as HE is concerned, Lakse Kronch beats chicken, liver and cheese hands down!
Any comments on ingredients or past experiences appreciated.
Cheers

Hi Gunner, I haven't seen these before myself but have found some info using google and they sound good to me, I hope someone else can give them a clean bill of health as they would so much easier than fresh. Does anyone know of a source for these in the UK.
Cheers Martin.

Hi
I have found this site which although USA based will deliver to UK, albeit at hefty cost of £5.95 for delivery!
http://www.activepetfeeds.com/
Also, this UK based company advertise the product but don't display a price list for it - could be worth a ring.

I have not heard of Lakse Kronch, but if your dog likes fish there are quite a few companies here where you can buy treats. Burns has two different kinds, one is called Aqua Snacks (cod & brown rice) and the other is Ocean Bites (100& fish skins).

Or you could try fish4dogs.com, they do sea biscuits 95% fish/5% rice or sea jerky 100% fish skins. My dogs love them!

Hi
Have tried the Ocean Bites - whilst HE does like them, they don't half stink!!! :-( The smell even seems to permeate through the plastic bag I carry them in and all my clothes end up reeking of them! Are the Aqua Snacks any better?

Hi Gunner,
I don't know, I have not tried either of the fish treats. I imagine Acqua Snacks would be better though since they are not 100% fish.
You can always cook up your own treats - just mix rice flour or ground rice with some canned fish, bake, and you'll have a happy dog and more money in your pocket. Dog treats are expensive!

Csj do "crispy fish skins" that are 100% pure dried fish skins, they clean their teeth lovely too!
