I'm getting my new car on saturday (well new to me anyway) and i am looking into fully kitting it out before the agility/flyball season starts in earnest next year. At the moment it has just a radio cassette player, but i would like to change that to a cd player (Because i like my comforts!). Currently my car has one of those controls on the steering wheel. DOes anyone know if you can still use that if you change the radio?

Why not upgrade to a CD player from the garage if you still wish to
use the steering wheel controls?
I know it's more expensive to buy than from Halfords but you never
know they may be doing 'deals' at this time of year.
You could always ask if they have any older model CD players going cheaper...

Kenwood units can use the steering remote controls just need to make sure the model you buy has this function. Also if you want to add a dvd to the system at a later date then get one with aux imput as not all models have this so saving you money in the long run. I would go to an independant car audio specalist, price wise not much difference but the quality of the advice is excellent and well worth it.
