Would like to express a very keen interest in giving a home to 1/2 Flat coated Retriever puppies.  Could you please let us know if you could help us.

Kind Regards
Claire Glazer

Hi Claire,

No reputable breeder will sell two puppies of any kind together and flatcoat breeders definately would not, we know how much work just one puppy is!

If you would like to speak to Mrs Johnson regarding the breed and getting a puppy, call Mrs Shirley Johnson 01638 718231.

It might be a good idea for you to actually meet some flatcoats, as they are couch potato dogs, and definately not the dog for everyone. If you let me know where you live, I might be able to put yu in touch with an owner willing to let you see the dogs and see exactly what you would be taking on.

You could also join flatcoats@yahoogroups.com as this group is especially for flatcoat owners, breeders and those just interested in the breed.

Regards
Polly & Foxpath Flatcoated Retrievers.

with frc it best to have at lease 18 months between them so the you can do the basic trainning  with the 1st dog before the other one comes a long,it is hard work with two it like twins double the trouble,it hard work when you got 3 under 3 years old, but at lease the older one will teach the younger good and bad habits to but if it like all mine they will get on well, and will miss the other one if it had to be part beacuse you couldnt cope
