Right I am having an awful job working out what to buy my partner, 34 year old man!!!!!
Know exactly what i am buying my 6 and 10 year old. And my dogs will just get spoilt rottem with turkey giblets and various other food related treats and raw bones.
I thought we might be able to give eachother ideas on xmas pressies. Anything from pressies for dogs to the mother in law from hell!!!!

what does he like? what is he interested in?

The dog is getting thoroughly spoiled with treats (given in moderation) and new toys, the hamsters and rabbit will get stockings

OH is possibly getting a PSP although i cant quite decide between that and a halfords voucher for the price of parking sensors as he has been moanin about wanting them for ages

my uncle whos about the same age got one of those fun  remote control plane things. Not huge - one you can play with in a park. The kids would love it too. He did break it though on xmas day with a nose dive from about 50 feet!! he got the part needed and fixed it though in the new year!

Stephen is 44 and I have found metal meccano is for sale so that is what he is getting this year :D

In other years I have bought him:

Swiss army knife
Geomag
MultiTool

I find most things with buttons that they can fiddle with for ages gives them amusement ;) :D

Sudoko is nothing to do with Maths - just logic :)

my other is also a gadget freak, but buys everything when they come out, so theres n ot much left to buy that he hasn't bought already! I've bought my hubby one of those video ipods, dvds, some clothes....If he drove or was adventurous i'd have bought him a rally weekend or something like that. I'd love one of them myself :D :D Or to go off-roading.

oooooo. I'll fit in the boot lucy-well with a lot of shoving! My dads friend owns and runs a rally school up here, and my brother did a day there, and loved it. Even my 65 year old dad had a go! Yet he won't do 70 on a dual carriageway..... I had my wedding reception in their hotel-was so tempted to run across the yard to the garages.........

I managed to talk my 30-year old OH out of wanting a light sabre the other day - they're £80-£100 and I can't see what fun he would get out of it on his own, however he said he would be just as happy with it hanging on the living room wall  to take down and play with once in a while.

I know he secretly still wants one because he asked for it for his wedding present in July and his birthday present (Sunday just gone) but fortunately (for me) changed his mind at the last minute.  Hurrah for go-kart helmets I say!

So anyway, if your 34-year old likes Star Wars, its an idea that is sure to please!  M&S do them, as do iwantoneofthose.com

Goodness you wouldnt want to be in the boot - you would come out black and blue! My OH loved his day at a rally school in wales, trouble is he still tends to drive down country roads as if theya re a rally stage and expects me to be able to give him pace note type instructions from a map covering the whole of the UK :0
