My firend has just contact Tesco Pet Insurance only to be told that they no longer offer refund of cost of purchasing your pet if Death is by ILLNESS!!!!!   What do most of us go to the vet for.  Her vet thought this was hilarious!!!

Also they have put the excess up tp £120.00.

I've just checked their web site and the excess is £60.

Hi,  That it what I was told on the website, but when my friend phoned to set up the insurance she was told completely something else.  Confused!!!  Maybe it is only that when you apply online.

I have Tesco pet insurance and the excess is £50...unless they have upped it again without me knowing!!

Also, tesco DO NOT continue cover after one year if you have an ongoing condition.  My sister sadly found this out when her dog was diagnosed with auto immune.  They paid for the first year and now she has to foot the bill OUCH!!!!
