hi, which books are best for a new staffy owner? a friend is thinking of buying a staffy and is wondering which books are helpful in all aspects. i only ever had one book by clare lee the pet owners guide to the sbt, which she has bought, and i have the culture clash on order for myself which she plans to borrow!
also she was wondering what size crate to use as she has heard they are very good for pups, she wants to buy just one crate so it will have to big enough for the pup once full grown. i have no experience with crates at all so any help is appreciated! :) thanks.

I dont know about the books, but if you look here theres a guide to which adult dogs are suitable for each size of crate :)

your welcome.... she might have to put a box or something in the crate to make the crate smaller to start with, so the pup doesnt try to toilet in there. also covering them with an old blanket helps them settle aswell, makes it more den like :)

thanks! like i said i have no idea about crates but i have just noticed there is a lot of helpful info on the site too about the training part, and now im considering a crate for my 7 month old yorkie. :)
