Whilst we are all defrosting from this bitter weather what are your dogs nick names and how did they get them ?
Ours are :
Rufus (Springer cross) = Truffles or Bear - Truffles because when he's walking through the woods he snuffles along the ground making a noise like a pig searching for truffles and Bear because we let his coat grow long in the winter and he is all fluffy like a big cuddly bear
Dylan (Boxer) = Wiggles - when he is happy (basically when he's not asleep) and excited he wiggles his whole body, it starts off with his tail and works it's way up so only his head is still, it's almost impossible to get a hug when he's like this :D
Come on then what's yours called ?
Tara x

Minnie (Westie) = Moofassa cos we also call her Minnimoo and when shes not been to the groomers for a while she looks like a lion (hence Moofassa from lionking). Madam cos shes spoilt and only listens when she wants to!
Bruno (Weim) = Mr Bruno, dunno why. Big boy cos hes basically massive, even for a Weim, hes bigger than his mum dad and brothers and sisters, trust me to pick the biggest lol. Also Brunee Baby cos hes the baby of the family.

'Pain in the 'arris' because it rhymes with her name. She's not really but sometimes she whines to leave the room, you open the door and she stands still until you walk through it. She leaves the room, you shut the door and she whines to come back in. She also whines to go in the garden and when you eventually open the door she sticks her head out, has a sniff and backs back inside again.
Don't ask me why we call ours the names we do, it just kind of happened!!
Heather - Heather the Weather
Sid - Siddilly, Siddums, Siddily Widdily
Chanel - Chuntie
Kirsty - Kirkums
Katie- Kitty, Kitteney, Kitters
Hazel - Hazy
Fabio - Fabs
Holly - Holly Hockles
Hannah - Hannah Banana
I think its easier to call them by their real names :-D
Blue has many nicknames, but main ones being Flubberlubs - sometimes shortened to Flubs (because of his droopy mouth - flubbers)
Blobalob (i have no idea why, it just stuck) also Bloobaloo (from his name being Blue) :D
P.S Im normal, really i am! lol
Oh dear, i'm absolutely awful at changing names to something silly.
Megan (collie) meggie moo, miss moo, moo moo, pudge!
Ellie (retriever) ellie belly, which became belly, which somehow became bell (said in a funny voice which sounds more like bill!)
Murphy (springer), smurphy, smurf, smurvey, mr smurvey!
I'm sure my dogs think i'm nuts, but just play along anyway!!
My Staffy bandit gets called Munshkin or cuddlebunny, because he is so cuddly.
Lady my greyhound get called Lady muck muck, not sure were that came from.
Then Bob my lurcher gets teddy or bear (teaddy bear) because of his colour and hes right hairy.
Lucyandmey, I have a horse called murphy and we call him smurf or smurfy too. lol
Seska is know as Sessie-Wessie, Chance gets Chancey-wancey and Chloe is known as Grumpy Stumpy. Chloe is sometimes a bit grumpy and will give a little growl and she had to have part of her tail amputated when she was a pup. ;)
Ive got an ellie belly too. Sometimes its ellie fat belly or ellie legs. Dont know why. Kizzi is kizzi whiz or kiz wiz. Gets confusing because cat is called wizza so gets called wizza wazza and wiz waz. Little dog is called Butch but is usually butchie wooch or rat bag.
My Jack Russell Alfie is called different names by different members of the family! OH calls him Wolfie or Wolfman, I call him Alfredo and my daughter calls him Sexy Beast!!!!

Our poor little orange roan girl is called Inca.......our children decided to call her Stinky Inky!! She actually responds to Stinky.....poor little thing....lol.
Rhodesian Ridgeback - Mungo = Mungobungo, mungs, mungo billy bungo
Labrador - Tubby = Tubble, Tubby T
GSD - Alfie = Alfonzo le Bonzo, Le Tub (shortened from Alfie a.a. Le Tub, long story, orginally alfie alfie alfie like a teddy bear first letters became Alfie A A le tub then le tub. geddit?!)
Plus all our dogs have surnames as well!! We need to get out more.! ie Mungo Mulholland, Gracie Jiggles, Tubby Tubington etc :D

Well my dogs (and kids as well!!) are Plonker 1 to 9 accordong to their place in the pack, LOL. They ALL listen to Plonker.
Ripley is also Rippydip, and Bobby the Papillon who is SO fast is always referred to as TURBO-Bobby, so much so that he listens to Turbo just as well as Bobby. :D
Anton - Icky, Icks, Ickle Man. Nobody called him Anton in my dog friends until he was nearly 2. He just suited Ickle Man as he ended up growing above the breed size :d
Carina - Caricot as she was mated to a male called Cote and the pups ended up being called the Caricot litter, name just stuck :d
Lastar - Lazi Loo - God his owner in Spain will kill me, but Lastar likes it.
Lydia - Lydi loo - or the senile old boot. Sorry Lydia love you really!
