My 1yr. old GWP has been bleeding for nearly a week now, when he goes to the toilet ( in his feaces,) and on four occassions vomited up blood, he is under the vet who has given him zantac incase he has an ulcer, and anteseptin to stop the bleeding, none of which have helped, he is loosing weight. I have asked the vet to carry out a endoscopy and to do a blood clotting test on him which is being done tomorrow, I am getting so worried. Has anyone had similar problems or can offer me some advice.

Regards

Nicky

Hi Nicky,
I too have G.W.P,s,but have not had this problem.
I hope he is ok,and the sooner the vet gets to the bottom of this the better,as he cant go on like that.
G W Ps can sometimes have Von Willabrands Disease,so the clotting test is good to get done.
Please feel free to join the forum and let us know how he is.
Its free and there are lots of experienced people to offer help and advice.
Best wishes
