As I have not been to a show for 18m can someone just confirm this please?

If I enter my bitch in MPB & she gets a 1st (wishfull thinking!!! :-) ) & then does not get placed in another class, she can still compete for best puppy but not BOB? Or can she still go through to BOB if she is only beaten by an adult dog/s?

Would she still get get 6 JW points if she won both?

Does the dog still get classed as unbeaten if they lose in stakes classes?

I dont expect to be that lucky - just trying to remember how it works.

If she was entered in PB and was beaten she cannot compete for either BP or BOB, if she is in junior and was beaten by a puppy that was in Junior too, she cannot compete for BP or BOB, if entered in anything above this PGB, LB, OB, she can compete for BP but not BOB (Unless one of the dogs placed above her is a puppy).

If she won 2 classes and there were the minimum of 3 dogs in the class she'd win 6 points - at championship shows.  At open shows it would be 2 points.   She doesn't get anything extra for BOB.

I'm sure if a dog is in the stakes classes and it loses I'm sure it is classified as beaten.
