Hi, I have a 10 week old great dane puppy called Molly. I had her at 8 weeks, she is excellent in many ways BUT!!!  She plays very rough with people. She uses her mouth an arwful lot. She grabs at hands, feet, hair and leaves marks. I want to get her out of this ASAP but I dont know how. Especially as my OH's childrens are staying this w/e and I dont want her to scare them!! I've tried ignoring her........she just chewed harder, putting her in the kitchen away from us..........came straight back to what she was doing when let back in the lounge. I've shouted at her, made yelps to let her know I'm hurt.......still does it.  I know she's probably teething aswell which doesn't help, but she has all the chews under the sun........ Puppy kong, pigs ears, rubber rings, balls, fury toys.  Thing is she doesn't chew furniture? She's toilet trained, follows me everywhere like a lamb and sits for her food........almost perfect!

All puppies do this. It's perfectly normal and this is how they learn about their environment. This article should help.
