What about ski dome or something (though friend had that for her party and ended up sitting it out after 10 mins due to twisting her knee!)  Those who wanted to ski did, those that didn't watched and had a laugh watching.

How about trip to somewhere she really enjoys?

A beauty thingy for her and mates

How about a dinner party where mum (and dad) provide waitress service, complete with no-alcohol cocktails?

My middle daughter turned 13 today and we took her and some friends ice skating on saturday - they loved it, lasted for about 2 1/2 hours and they enjoyed a bit of freedom where they could go mad for a change :D

She did go to a party a few months ago where her friends mum and dad did the dinner party idea - she said it was really cool being waited on for a change !!!!  (where on earth has she been living - she's always waited on hand and foot LOL )

Bowling is always good too.

Oh what a lovely age - sweet 13 !

I helped a friend with a dinner party for her daughter.  It was amazing, they were 14 but arrived dressed to kill in sparkles and baubles with hair and nails done to the nines!

We dressed in black and white attire and tried very hard to keep straight faces all the way through.

They loved it!

My daughter had a Murder Mystery dinner party for her 13th. We bought a kit - all her friends had to come dressed as a character. They did need a little help running the evening, but it was a great success :)

She is quite sporty although a girlie girl at the same time. She would like to have a large party but it wouldnt matter if she could only have a small amount.

I know the best party I ever went to as a kid was rollerskating, it was hilarious watching every one falling over, and then joining them :D Times have probably changed though by now! ;)

i used to go to rollerdiscos on a friday night, complete with bright cerise leggings and leotard  !

We had our daughters 13th birthday at the hotel and all the kids went swimming, they really enjoyed it. We ordered pizza and had the party from 4-8pm which I think was long enough. My kids enjoyed it cause the next morning they could still swim.

My sister had a Fear Factor Party for her son, she made all sorts of stuff, but we never made that since she lives out of town.

My daughter had friends round for dinner and a sleep over for her 13th Bday. There were about six of them and it went very well. :) I only had to go down stairs once to tell them to stop screaming at about 2am  :D

I must be mad as she is having 4 of them round again tonight  Oh well I can feel a ribena night coming along to help me and the OH get through the night ! :D

I think i went ice skating for my 13th and then a birthday tea - not sure though as it was quite a long time ago! Other ideas are a theme park like alton towers or something. Horse riding or the snow dome idea which other people said sounds great :)

i had a roller skating party and it was great, also had swimming parties etc - the dinner party idea sounds great though i would have loved that
