my staffie has had 3 phantom pregnancies this last one being the worst she gets very growly and seems to shake or tremble is probably the better word even if she has been asleep on your lap all day as that is what she wants to do she has a toy that she must feel is her pup and carries it every where she is coming to an end of it now but is still growly for  and trembles for no reason could this be part of her phantom and is there anything i can do about it

I guess by your username you have joined CDs. Why not use the search facility and put in Phantom Pregnancy.Im sure you will find lots of helpful info.

thanks been doing a lot of reading up nearly all afternoon still not to sure on everything as it still has not given all the answes i need but thanks anyway

Hi Higgy Phantoms can be very trouble some for some bitches. Have you taken her to the vet at all when she is having one maybe they will be able to help. they may even suggest having her spayed if she is that bad when she has a phantom.

firstly sorry for taking so long to reply had a very heavy work week no i havent taken her whenever i go near the vet she goes absolutely off her head she is just starting to come off this one now but we do have to look into this option as my wife certainly wont breed her anyway thanks for your help                                                                                                                                                                                                           regards higgy
