my boxer bitch is on the final countdown (2wks)to go,but the last time i bred her she developed mastitis round about wk5 i was just wondering if theres anyway of preventing it happening again this time around? thanx mel

make sure they a perfectly clean all the time if she goes out side wipe them down as soon as she comes back in this is what my vet told me when my first bitch developed it and i decided to breed her again the second time she didnt get it at all but just in case keep some puppy formula on hand some bitches are just prone to mastitis
