Willow's pups are due this weekend and at the moment she is panting a lot and has refused her dinner.    I think we could be in for a long day/night.

Same with Carina, she turned down food today!!  That is not her.  She's still eating meat and eggs but won't eat her usual dry food and she doesn't usually refuse anything :d

Looks like we are both going to have a long night ahead :d

One pup arrived about an hour ago.  It all happened very quickly in the end and we only just got her off the settee where she was determined to go and have him and into the whelping box which we've had to move into the lounge.   In the Book OTB it says to allow up to 2 1/2 hours between pups so we could be in for a long night.

How exciting is this, I think I am as excited for you two as I was when callah had her pups.

Sorry but I have never been one for patience :)

Sorry for keeping you waiting. What a long day.   Willow now has 7 pups - 3 girls and 4 girls.   All busy feeding from their tired mum.   We thought she'd finished after having 6 but suddenly a 7th appeared.

Fingers crossed that all do well.

Don't ask!!  Been up all night with the panting, scratching, paper ripping a few tiny pushes, but all she's really wanted to do is chase her ball all through the night.  Hope the neighbours didnt look out of the window because they'll certainly think I'm weird, as we've been in and out nearly all night.  Just put her in her cage to see if that will get her going!
