Hi Teters

Don't know too much about this, but the headers/footers are used purely for the "head and the foot" of the page..do you not need to have a special program/feature to add watermarks??

Teters

Select the picture you want and right click on it - select "format picture"

on the "Layout" tab select "behind text"

On the "picture" tab increase the brightness to the level you want so that it creates a watermark effect and hey-presto.

You can sixe the picture by clickinig on it and dragging the handles and also centre it on the page using the format picture dialogue box..hth
