I am at a lost as what I can do over the next few weeks. Everything is so difficult with just my left hand. Even reading is a problem trying to balance and turn the pages of a book or mag and the dogs jumping all over me. I am in to Sudoku but that's difficult being rt handed. Typing is awkward and slow.  I  can't really do anything yet but I am getting a tad bored. Any suggestions.... nothing rude now !!

lol Are you a Friends fan?? If you are, go through the whole 10 series, get loads of nibbles and put your feet up and enjoy!! That should keep you going for a while! :D

What about training the dog's some new tricks? You only need one hand to give a treat!!

How about jigsaw puzzles? Either on loan or from charity shops. You can also borrow spoken books (my OH listens to them all the time when he is driving and orders them to be delivered to the local libary (wish I could spell!). They also have dvds to hire.  If you can use the keyboard a bit you could research your family history, as a lot of it is available on line and it dosent involve much typing. Depending if you can use your right hand at all you could make your own Christmas cards/presents, bake cakes or christmas puds (trust me this can be done with very little grip in the right hand and a bit of cunning planning).

Is that enough to keep you going? Or do you want to turn out cupboards/loft as well ;)    

I might try a jigsaw, Ithink you can get to do some online if they are mouse only. Ican't use my right hand at all I can't even see my fingers!! Thankfully I already have the xmas cards and pressies so don't need to make anything.

If you can use a mouse then try online mahjong.  It's addictive.  I think the free one is Kyodo or something along those lines.  You can download it for free and its really good.  Try putting that into google and go from there.  Bridge and Teacup are very challenging!

Lost?  It's amazing.  I've been confined to the sofa for a few days and have managed 17 episodes so far and am now totally hooked.
