hello,
my name is nicole. i have a 13 wk old boxer called buster. when he is old enough i would like to stud him. he has 5generations of champion blood line in him. im just after some information on how to go about doing so or any insite or stories from anyone who has experience. like i said he isn't old enough yet im just enquiring for info from people with experience.

He will need to be heart tested at 12 months

The breeder will be willing to guide you though showing and studding :)  Be warned your dog could change from a friendly dog into something not so nice to live with, take out or socilise :( 

If the pup's turn out bad the stud dog will get the blame.

You will still have responcibility for the puppies if for some reason the breeder can't say take one back for re-homing.

It's also risky :(

However if you have a successful show dog with correct health tests being OK etc and someone wants to use your dog on their healthy bitch who is also successful in the show ring and the mating will hopefully improve the breed quality, temprement and health then why not! :D
