I am a dog walker and one of the puppies (little sibe) i do is very sweet and i am really getting on well with him. His owners have just started puppy classes, when they told me this i did nothing but praise them for what they are doing. I do some basic training with him but i feel this will give them confidence. Another puppy i do on a different walk is a malamute, he was passed via another dog walker as she did not understand the breed. I thought that he would be okay as i know and own sibes and have experience with them.  The problems i am having with the mal. is  1:- he is only 23 weeks of age
2:- he likes to mouth and of course wants to play with the others
3:- he is throwing his weight around and is a very heavy strong puppy
This is only a few things that he does my worry with him is that although he is a sociable puppy he could turn and hurt the other dogs.  Im not sure wether to keep him with me or tell the owners to maybe go for a one 2 one dog walker. Please please if you have experience with this breed i would like to know where i am going wrong.  ( the owners do not take him to puppy classes and he does not even have a back yard to free run.  I am desperate for this puppy to get some happy times why with me on a walk.

The pup NEEDS to go to puppy classes and he needs to have a garden to run in! Why on earth do people sell our wonderful breed to people who have no garden??

Malamutes can be very over the top and need a firm hand from day one ..they need to know who the boss is or they will keep challenging for top dog position. Sounds like this lovely lad thinks he is the boss.

Mals do tend to play roughly anyway .........but they MUST be taught not to mouth and this is not something that I would expect a puppy walker to have to do (no offence to you :) ) It HAS to be done at home.
