have a just turned 1 year old toy poodle. She had a season in July. But it appars she may be coming back in now. There been no blood, but she keeps nesting and hunping the male dog i have - he is neutredbut also keeps sniffing around her. I dont kno whats going on and if she is coming back into season is this normal?Please help.

It's not unusual!  A friend of mine has a bitch who also comes in every 4 months.  It's not actually the norm but not unknown of.

What is the norm, cos i havent got a clue.I thought about every 6 months. Shes been really agressive to the other dogs and guarding things, but she is usually the most angelic little dog - the way poodles are. She did this last time she was in season - she seems to turn into a monster lol.

All bitches have different cycles - the average is every 6 months, but that takes into account those with 4-month cycles and those with 8-month cycles.
