hi, my pups are 5 1/2 weeks old now and have done really well, but last nite 1 of the pups was sick 3 times, she has been eating food well and feeding of mum about once a day. the sick was yellow in colour and a bit thick, she hasnt been sick since and still seems to be happy and playing ok, do you think there could be something wrong with her?

Hi is it possible that she ate something or maybe too much food?
I had one pup who was sick twice but otherwise well and I couldn't find anything at all wrong.That was 2 weeks ago and he has been right as rain ever since.I did phone vet and he said as long as pup gets plenty to drink and is not showing any other signs of illness ie: lethargic,runny poo,etc he would be fine.
If your pup is fine I would just keep an eye to her but if like me you are a worrier contact your vet.

hi waffy,i just phones vet and he said the same thing " should be fine just keep an eye on her " as she is the only pup who was sick i was wondering if she may have a reaction to the wormer that i have given to her, she has had 2 other doses of this wormer but is it possible that she could have reacted to it?

I had a terrible time after worming my litter for the first time with PANACUR it was like something from the exorcist!
I rushed the whole litter to the emergency vet and he told me that he doesn't like this wormer has he has had similar problems himself.
It was such a shame as they all were all still playing away but pooing and throwing up everywhere.
When I wormed them again 2 weeks later I used a different wormer and pups were fine.

i have been using sherley's chocolate syrup, the rest of the litter have been fine off it, the girl that was sick has now got very loose stools now so do you think that itt would be best if i changed it for another brand?
