my bitch is due end of november, she seems to be drinking a lot of water,  i can,t remember her being like this the last time we bred her, im a just being paranoid or is it normal ? thanx.

Have you recently turned on your central heating? She could be finding it too hot in the house. However if you're worried have the vet check her out.

thanx to all who replied to my question ,i ended up taking her to vets and she said she was fine i can now look forward to the birth with one less worry . thanx again mel

my bitch drank tons of water and i was worried sick but the vet said it was normal. she had 8 lovely pups!

Willow seemed to be drinking more water than usual right from just a few weeks after she was mated which I was told could be a bad sign.  I asked the vets who said just to keep an eye on her but she was fine in herself and has been all the way through her pregnancy.   She's now due any day now.

My girls also due on Tuesday :d  She's breathing a bit heavier tonight, so it looks as though the early signs are starting!
