Let me set the scene..........

I was trying to have a quiet half an hour in bed drinking a cup of tea before getting up, taking Indigo to nursery, then getting on with some work and getting the house ready for a viewing this afternoon.

A Moose head kept peering round the door. I kept saying go down stairs (She normally comes on the bed but we have a clean duvet on in readiness for this afternoon:) ) This happened about five times which didn't trigger any concern as she is quite a persistant girl :D

I then got a shout from Florence 'One of the dogs has pooed in the bathroom'

I shouted down ' Well clear it up then ! ' :D

Reply 'Ummm I think you need to come down ! '

I have never seen so much poo out of one dog in all my life

It was in the bathroom, in the spare room and in the ensuite  To make matters even worse she has stood in it and has walked it all through the house  (It was the very thick sticky type of poo )

Anyway I have started to do operation clear the poo up before the prospective buyers come round but have had to come and have a sit down and a cup of tea :) The house stinks like a sewer

She is on her bed looking very sheepish :)

Eek! Typical timing! Poor Moose - and poor you too!

>A Moose head kept peering round the door.

I keep remembering that scene from Fawlty Towers now, where the moose head falls onto Manuel ...!

Oh dear, what great timing.  I should go and get some Glade plug ins or brew loads of coffee, it can tend to linger  :D

At least it is a nice sunny day so I can leave some of the windows open which should help :)

I have loads of air freshener so hopefully I can disguise the smell :)

Open doors (if weather is clement ;) ) and burn a few candles - trouble with Glade plug-ins is that some people (me included) are allergic & can start sneezing for England.   Of course, if you have a breadmaker - you could always put that on as well as the coffee :D

I'll come round :D

But I'm not buying :D

Hmmm could be like the time I tried to sell my car and the guy said "Nice car, but it smells of wet dog".  Ahhh.

CG

Tip - sell it on e-bay.  They can't view it and they commit to buying.  I did sell it for the asking price :)  Don't know why they had the Glade out when I was leaving!!

Sorry Lucy, but I cant stop grinning ;)  I know, I know, there, but for the grace of God, etc. etc.  Its still gives that little tickle of amusment (and relief)  to know it happens to others too :D

OH DOG!

My cat has always done this (and her daughter did)  she's an indoor cat and as soon as a visitor comes in the door she has to dig to australia and do the most vile pungent smelling poos, normally her poos don't smell so I think she saves these up for special occasions  Oh and she shouts about it too so there's no ignoring it

Ebay rules are different for property. :) You cannot actually SELL a house on Ebay, you are just advertising it. Flat fee of £35 to list, no extra fees after a sale, and anybody who bids (OR clicks to buy it now) is NOT committing themselves to buy. All they do is express an interest -in viewing, basically. :)

LOL they do have a great sense of timing! Mine is normally a cat, when she has a 'runny bum' she takes it a bit too literally and runs around the house at high speed whilst pooing, so I have to check behind every curtain, under tables and behind the sofas. On Friday she excelled herself and got it all up the walls
