If you have been reading a lot of posts lately about anaesthetic and your dog is due to have one it puts some concerns in your mind.
All you can do is go with what feels right for you and your pet.

Go with your instinct :)

You have already had one done, so have the other one done too!  You have probably read a lot more and are more aware of problems that can happen, which is what has made you worry.  Remember thousands of dogs are operated on a year.  You only get to hear about the minority that go wrong, same with us humans. The chances of a problem with either of these operations is remote. I certainly don't think it is a sign, just your jitters. :-)

Glad everything went ok. I will be fretting just the same when Maddie goes in December. Mind you she's 'been under' enough times now bless her so hopefully this will be just routine and I won't worry too much  :) Huh!

I think it must be lampshade time for libby then!  Hopefully the vet has fitted her with this very fashionable accessory. :-)

Glad that Libby is now back and re-dressed.  Unfortunately the vet will have charged you for his time + bandages, it varies, mine charges £9 just to walk through his door!  So it is probably about right. Good luck, let's hope a speedy recovery now.

You gotta feel sorry for them in those collars, they have to re-judge how to get through doors etc, the times I got hit in the back of the knee!! :D Feeling sorry for Molly at the mo, she's on 'cage rest' (crucia ligaments) so she can't get to my grand-daughters high-chair and scrounge for scraps :) though I am surprised at how well she's taken to it.
Glad to hear you're ok aswell ;) and wishing a speedy recovery to Libby
